PUERTO DE MOGÁN


Situated on the south-western coast of Gran Canaria Puerto de Mogán is, without any doubt, the most picturesque holiday resort on the island.


Puerto de MogánSurrounded by high mountains, stripped of high hotel building and the rush of loud discos, is surely different from neighbouring resorts Puerto Rico and Playa del Inglés. Enjoying the prevailed silence, we can walk through the beautiful streets of "Little Venice", take a sunbath on the small beach, or eat in the dockside restaurant overlooking at yachts rolling over the waves.



Puerto de MogánAdditionaly we can take advantage of one of offered trips "in the sea" and take an exciting journey by i.e. yellow submarine, glass bottom ferry or simply choose the sea route to Puerto Rico. For the shopping amateurs - every Friday is organized market.

Places of interest

Playa de Mogán - enlarge photo Playa de Mogán - the golden beach made up from Sahara sand located in the bay. It is sheltered from the sea by stone pier, what makes the bathing beach safe and perfect for swimming.

Puerto de Mogán - enlarge photo Puerto de Mogán - port and beautiful yacht dock provide excellent conditions for the yachts at berth that staying here either for shorter or for a longer time. It is possible also to rent a yacht or take an advantage of one of offered sea trips.

La Venecia de Canarias - enlarge photo La Venecia de Canarias - known us Little Venice, situated between beach and port. Along narrow streets are placed low white apartments connected to each other by garlands of coloured flowers, all is surrounded by small bridges and the channels passing under arc vault of buildings. All that makes this place incredibly charming.

Mirador de Mogán - enlarge photo Mirador de Mogán - climbing the steep, narrow stairs along the densely built houses, we get to the viewpoint, from which extends the most beautiful panoramic view of whole Puerto de Mogán. Learn more



Puerto de Mogán neighbourhood

Las Casas de Veneguera - enlarge photo Veneguera - on the west of Puerto de Mogán we find a small village Las Casas de Veneguera with its very pleasant square and a tiny church of Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Following further in the direction to the coast by the rather low quality road, we get to beautiful beach of Playa de Veneguera

Mogán - enlarge photo Mogán - situated in central-western part of the island, typical canarian village with a church and town hall in its central part. Mogán and its close neighbourhood are an excellent point for admiring the beauty of the nature - high mountains that surrounds the village, green pine forests and realy enchanting Barranco de Mogán.

Soria - the largest water reservoir on Gran Canaria, situated in its central part. Surrounding area admire by its greeny and freshness of the air. Along the reservoir leads the tourist route connecting neighbouring reservoir Chira with a route to Monataña de Tauro.
