MIRADOR DE BALCÓN

Mirador de Balcón - a viewpoint situated on the west side of Gran Canaria, north of San Nicolás de Tolentino, on the road to Agaete.

Without any doubt, this is the most attractive viewpoint on the island. Standing on a carved in the rock stony ledge, from the altitude of about 500 metres above sea level, you can admire of entire north-west coast of Gran Canaria, and the boundless of the ocean. Far below the sea waves breaking on the rocky, cliff shore. This picture is an incredibly and fantastic impression.



When the clouds are enough low, and the air is transparent, on the horizon you'll see the highest mountain of Tenerife - Pico de Teide. And if you are lucky, you can see this island in all its length: from the south to the situated on the north Santa Cruz de Tenerife, including buildings.
